Evermore Steel founder and designer Bryan Chase was raised in Southern California where he learned to be creative not only with his outlook on life, but in problem solving. While studying Environmental & Sustainable Policy at Cal Poly Humboldt in Northern California, Bryan was immersed in one of the most scenic locations in the world. He drew inspiration for his craft from the redwood forest and the shores of the northern California coastline. The complex wood grains of the forest and the ebb and flow of the tides, sparked his imagination and passion. He is dedicated not only to his craft, but to the sustainability of the raw materials that is found in his work.

For Bryan, crafting these intricate and artistic pieces is an intimate process. Before deciding on the grain or thickness, he thinks about how a design will be worn or used. He treats the raw material as a gift bestowed upon him by nature herself. Completely opposed to an industrial approach, Bryan works every piece by hand, giving them their own voice for you to discover.

Passion and Imagination is Art.

After years of practice, Bryan has found that combining the analytical sciences of metallurgy and thermodynamics along with inventive notions of passion and creativity, he is able to find balance that produce truly inspiring results. Backpacking through forests, along coastlines, and under mountains, Bryan found a sense of being that has helped him develop a particular style. Bryan truly enjoys learning new techniques from his mentors and friends which are all eager to share their stories, experience, knowledge and wisdom.

Adding to Evermore Steel’s growth is fellow Cal Poly Humboldt Graduate and lifelong friend to Bryan, an incredible wood worker and artist, Brian Schwartzberg. Brian’s mastery can be seen in his fractal wood burning technique. Brian is a truly gifted musician, artist and designer.
